STRANDS LTD was founded in December 1978 primarily as a hair salon with one beauty room and ten employees. Since then we have grown to one of the largest and busiest beauty salons on the island and the only full-service city day spa. We are now situated in our own building and occupy 5,000 sq. ft. of ground floor space purpose built to accommodate our 35 staff and conveniently located on Reid Street. We are the distributors for the Clarins range of skin care products which we use exclusively in our Skin Spa, as well as the Nexxus and Goldwell hair care ranges used in our hair salon. We also use Nailtiques nail care products. All these products are available from our retail sales areas. We are a designated Clarins Skin Spa.
Our clientele is made up primarily of Bermuda residents, although we welcome overseas visitors. We offer a complete range of services for both men and women, and accept appointments during our normal business hours – Monday to Friday, 8:45a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:45a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Thursday late night openings until 8pm. However, every effort will be made to accommodate the special requests of our clients at any time.
We are very proud of our reputation and uphold a high standard of excellence and confidentiality to our clientele. We owe our success to consistently providing quality service through our very highly-trained staff using only the finest hair and skin care products. We also maintain a training program to ensure that this is on-going for both new products and services, and we attract hair and skin care professionals of the highest calibre from around the world.
